The Black Wednesday comeback gig at Scruffy Murphy’s tonight was a resounding metallic success! The songs are fast, furious, upbeat, melodic and power driven. The band are tight and empassioned and I’m very glad they’re back! Fabulous riffs, brilliantly frenetic drumming and amazing vocals. These guys have stage presence in a big way and can warm an audience to them immediately. Every track was immense, but ‘End of Time’ has to be the killer. Tonights set even included two awesome covers of ‘Disorder’ and ‘Enter Sandman’. A short but perfectly executed set. I hope to be seeing much more of Black Wednesday in the near future.
