Irish pagan metal Vikings, Ren Marabou and the Berserkers have signed with and released their new album, ‘Helgafjell’ (‘The Holy Mountain’), through Wormholedeath.
Working with Splitscreen Management, cover art was provided by the band’s drummer, Terence McCann (Black Dog Graphic Design); photography by Kathleen Curran. The album was entirely self-recorded and produced, at Skald Studios.
‘Helgafjell’ is centred around well researched North mythological history; specifically, in relation to life, death and the afterlife and especially, The Holy Mountain; the perceived place of eternal life, for those who’ve earned it.
The single, ‘The Holy Mountain’ was written in tribute to Ren’s dad; a big-hearted warrior spirit, who passed from this life, in September 2022.
RMAB have completed an Irish tour, promoting ‘Helgafjell’, including festivals and both headline and support shows. Keep up with their social media sites, for more info.
